Our equine friends in the Sheridan/Willamina area have a gargantuan vision—to create Wallace Bridge, one of the finest equestrian resorts in the world.
Wallace Bridge will provide a one-of-a-kind venue for elite horseman, with facilities for polo, hunter/jumper, dressage, and Eventing, as well as support services. The venue will feature luxury accommodations for visitors, with a farm stand providing locally grown produce, an on-site artisan cheese factory, bakery, distillery, and wine tasting facility to complement a truly unique equine experience.
A fancy place like this is certainly a departure from the horse camps and trails we maintain. However, it’s important for us in the equine world to band together to create venues that appeal to all equestrians. The more outlets we have to support equine activities in Oregon, the more our voice will be heard when it comes to planning for our future.
Unfortunately, Wallace Bridge organizers have hit a stumbling block. They need an easement modification to move forward. Without that modification, Wallace Bridge can’t be developed.
Here’s how you can help.
