The OET Guidebook comes in a 6 x 8.5 spiral bound with 200 pages of Oregon Horse Camps and Trails, our Favorite Trails, Trail Etiquette, safety and trail resources, the history of OET, and mission. Below is a brief description of the sections you will find in the OET Guidebook.
- Oregon Horse Camps and Trail heads – Contains information for over 100 horse camps and trails heads throughout Oregon, plus a few from Southwest Washington and Northern California. this section includes driving instructions, horse camping site or trail-head information, contact and reservation numbers.
- Trail Etiquette & Leave No Trace Principles– This section describes etiquette and safety guidelines for all equestrians and what OET members do while horse camping, riding on the trail, riding in large groups, riding in wilderness areas, riding at the beach.
- About OET: Information and Resources for you as an OET member.
- Resource Information – Contains information on Trail Mail, simple rope hobbles, avoiding horse accidents, toxic plants for horses, preparing for work parties, riding with children and state and federal trail pamphlets.
