What We Do

When you sign up for membership online, none of your personal information is stored on our web site, but is directly emailed to our state coordinators to include member information in our membership list.

As a visitor to our web site we do not collect any other personally identifiable information about our visitors. When using Google Analytics we will some times collect the following information.

  • Internet IP address used by your Web Browser
  • Demographic Internet Location
  • The area of the web site you visited

We use this information for the following purposes:

  • To perform statistical analyses measuring relative interest in the various areas of our web site and to improve content for our members and visitors.

In addition we employ HTTP “cookies”:

  • To recognize user access privileges for the few users that may login and help with contributing to our web site.

We do not, under any circumstances:

  • Link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable
  • Provide personal information to any third party
  • Share the information we track on this site, in any form, with other parties
  • Release personal information about any individual visitors outside our membership coordinators or Officers of OET for member management and tracking.
